This is the first in a mythic based series of characters I've been thinking about for a while. It was painted in PS CS2 and pose was based on a photo from characterdesigns.com. I used several custom brushes for different textures and started in grayscale then moved into coloring once the foundation was set.

This is a very simple, unique and creative concept. I mostly like the details. I believe concept art is about details. Keep up the good work.
