Ah, yes. Morpheus (from "The Matrix" if you've been living under a rock). This is a piece I did for art class homework. Wanted to change up from my usual literal rendition style to something with a bit more edge, which seemed appropriate for the uber-cool Morpheus.
Used a pentel with 2b graphite on 9x12" paper. Based on some photo, don't even remember what from.

dito to what mavhn said! Awesome work. Matrix is a pretty darn awesome series. ^.^ Great fanart that does the character well, showing off his sense of strength, both as a leader and inspirer of others and his steady, unwavering belief in Neo as the One, even if Neo himself didn't know/understand/believe it at the beginning of the movies. Top right of head seems like it should come out a little more behind the ear, but that could just be me.
