Artist's Comments
This is a piece I did a while ago and was thinking I had already uploaded. It was based on one of many photos I shot during a photo shoot with the model for source material. It was hand drawn with graphite and vine charcoal on illustration board about 22x28".
Of course there are elements that I'm not pleased with but overall I achieved the vision I had which is to show the scene the way I see it or feel it. Details that don't concern me were left out, edges normally sharp are soft due to movement, and points of interest such as the face are more vividly realized. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
